What is Muck n' Mac?
Gravel Roads.jpg
Muck n' Mac Fest is a unique gravel riding festival weekend - all staged at Traquair House in the heart of the Tweed Valley.
The festival features two fantastic days of Gravel riding across some of the most epic gravel trails and roads the country has to offer.
Both days riding start and finish at the festival Village at Traquair House and each feature multiple Enduro-style timed stages. Once you've completed the ride, you'll be treated to an array of live music from Friday through to Sunday.
We've carefully selected a line up of artists to keep you entertained all weekend. We appreciate that riding isn't for everyone. With this in mind, we have a range of activies geared toward familes. Alongside the live music expect to see various activities such as Yoga classes, introductory bike sessions for kids and adults, camping and much more!

We are so lucky to be able to stage Muck n' Mac Fest in one of the most stunning locations the country has to offer. The trails are glorious, the roads are epic.
One of our driving forces is to operate an event format that is as environmentally friendly and sustainable as possibile. When out on the trails and roads it is our policy to remember a few key points.
We are not the only users of these areas. Be cortious to the landowners and other users. Respect the privacy, safety and general working livelihoods of such people living and working in these areas.
Leave the land as you see it.
Many of our trails pass through farmed land. If you see a closed gate, you close it after yourself.
Remember that the outdoors can never be made risk-free. Please act with care at all times for both your own safety and that of others.
Absolutely no littering, under any circumstances.

Outsider Events is an Edinburgh based events company, creating events and outdoor experiences that we'd like to attend ourselves.
Focussing primarily on cycling and trail running events, we strongly believe there's so much more to an event than pinning on a number, giving it #CENSOR# for leather (though there are definitely times for this) and heading home.
We aim to look beyond the finish line and incorporate an innovative approach to our event management that includes not only the racer but spectators, friends and family too.
