Lecale Way Ultra
About the event
The Lecale Way Ultra 100km is an out and back route and will start in Newcastle and will run to Strangford before returning back to Newcastle.
The Lecale Way 50km Ultra is a point to point route and will start in Strangford and will finish in Newcastle.
There are spectacular views along the route and you will finish in the shadow of the Mourne Mountains. You won't be disappointed.
This is a self sufficient, self navigating event, where you follow our tried and tested road books
(no map reading skills necessary). This is about enjoying the freedom of running without marshals and signage to interrupt the beauty of the landscape.

We are Adrian and Sammy Daye, two brothers that like to run. We organise running events at locations we love. For runner's of all abilities from 5k to ultra distance. Our aim is to provide friendly well-organised events for first time competitors through to ultra runner. Events we would love to take part in ourselves.
