About the event
Introducing a special event, the Gazelle 125.
Log 125k or 125 miles this May for Mental Health Awareness Month.
Why 125?
Because every week in the UK, 125 lives are lost to suicide. Yes, that's every single week. This isn't talked about enough. Even the word suicide is something people shy away from. But it's happening every day all around us.
That's why we are giving 100% of profits made from this event to the charity Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM). In our eyes, CALM are the leading charity battling suicide. They offer support to the suicidal and as a result are saving lives. They also support the bereaved family members when they need it most.
So, all you have to do is log 125k or 125 miles this May. We don't care how you log them, you can walk, hike, or run. Let's just spread the 125 word and help CALM continue doing what they do best.

Flying Gazelle Running is a family run project based in Dorset, England. We have a passion for running and wanted to express this by creating race events that are flexible and tailored to you.
As qualified Clinical Psychologists working in the NHS, we have experienced first hand the benefits that getting outdoors and walking/running can have on a persons physical and mental health. So this is our way to promote running, make it fun and interesting (and also challenging), and support mental health by hosting events each year in which 100% of profits go to mental health charities. We also plant 5 trees alongside every entry, to improve our carbon footprint.
Our events are for any and every runner, from the beginner to the seasoned pro. The difficulty of any race is determined by how much the runner puts in. You can walk, run, or sprint... we leave that up to you.
