Exmoor Open Water Swim 2021

Back for the 5th year, join us on Sunday 26th September 2021 for the Exmoor Open Water Swim. After a hugely successful "COVID-secure" event in 2020, we are ready for more this year.

Whilst we hope that the event will take place as close to "normal" as possible, if COVID-19 restrictions remain in place, we will prepare to put on a socially distanced event in September. PLUS: If the event does not take place due to COVID-19 restrictions, we will guarantee you the choice of a refund or deferral to the 2022 event (see terms and conditions for details).

Building on the success of our previous events, our goal is to give everyone the opportunity to swim in this beautiful lake in Exmoor National Park. Whether you are a regular open water swimmer, or want to venture outside of the swimming pool - this is your chance to swim #BEYONDTHELANE

With distances ranging from 1km to 6km, there is something for everyone.

The longer distances will use a 2km loop, taking swimmers on a tour of the lake. We also have an "elite" 6km event for those who wish to swim at a faster pace. 

For 2021 we will continue with the shorter 1km loop for those who have not been able to train due to COVID-19, or would like an introduction to a shorter swim at Wimbleball Lake.
