Dart SwimRun

The second Dart Swim Run forms part of the South West swimrun series and consists of a LONG 8mile and SHORT aquathlon 5.5 mile race. You will start with a 750m swim in the sea at the very picturesque Blackpool Sands, before following the SouthWest coastpath to Little Dartmouth where the SHORT route returns to Blackpool Sands. The LONG continues to Sugary Cove, where you'll swim round the mouth of the River Dart to Stumpy steps and begin your run for home. The LONG Swim Run consists of two runs and two swim sections, while the SHORT Aquathon consists of one swim and one run, finishing at Blackpool Sands. The courses will be fully marked, electronically timed and supported by our dedicated water safety team. Przes will be awaded for all categories.
