Dark Moors

Dark Moors is set within the grounds of Moors Valley Country Park, offering you a fantastic chance to run around the trails and woods in the dark. It’s a great start to the new year! With a 5-mile and 10-mile race to choose from, you have the chance to test out running around in the dark in a safe environment and with a friendly atmosphere. You even compete in both races if you want the extra challenge.

The wide paths, great facilities and fantastic forest mean there is a buzz when all the lights, high-vis and bright colours turn up and fill the country park. The course will be well signposted with reflective arrows, marking tape and flashing lights, and marshals will be along the route so you know you’re on the right track.

If you’ve not joined us before, check out this video from the 2019 event to give you a feel of the event. Once you’ve finished a bit of running and messing about in the dark, you’ll be rewarded with a medal and your goodies.
