About the event
Probably to most stunning triathlon in the country and rated in the top 21 MUST DO triathlons in the UK by 220 Tri. Our Stunning and Savage Croyde Ocean Tri offers you a challenging Olympic or Sprint distance Triathlon, set in North Devon.
Our Olympic route takes in a 1.5km ocean swim, 38k hilly bike ride with views to die for and a 12km trail run across open countryside and Croyde Beach with far reaching views from the Coastal Path. The Still Stunning and Less Savage Sprint Tri offers up a 750m swim, 18.5km bike and and 5k trail and beach run, all with awe-inspiring views as you go.
Sustainability and treading lightly on our corner of North Devon is at the heart of everything we do - we don;t just talk about. We actually do stuff. We have zero single use cups on site, we make all our own medal ribbons from old beach tents and we offer athletes a lift from the train station to name a few.

Based at the beautiful, award-winning Putsborough Sands and sold out last year, the race takes in some of the South West’s most stunning scenery. This Olympic distance Triathlon is number 2 in Red Bull's 11 best triathlons in the UK, was one of 220 Triathlons “Top 23 must-do” UK triathlons for 2019, and ranked 5th toughest Olympic distance triathlon in the world by 220 Triathlon with a course not for the faint-hearted!
A 1.5km ocean swim, followed by a 38km road cycle and 12km off-road run, this challenging triathlon has a welcoming and friendly atmosphere for all levels of triathlete. Sign up on 5 November 2019 to be a part of it.
