CORK STANDARD TRIATHLON - 18th June 2022

The Cork Standard Triathlon will take place on Saturday 18th June, 2022 and set to be Tough Runner UK’s first event outside the UK. We are very excited to bring one of the most unforgettable races to the Irish 2021 calendar.

The Cork Standard Triathlon is an open road triathlon starting at the picturesque Claycastle Beach, Cork. You will start the race with a 1500m sea swim before embarking on a challenging 40k bike course, and round it all off with an epic 10k run to the finish where you will be greeted with huge applause and a heart pumping atmosphere.

Claycastle Beach is located near the town of Youghal in County Cork and is an ideal spot for walking, swimming and relaxing. It is very popular with residents and visitors alike.

Claycastle Beach is a sandy beach located within walking distance of Youghal Town in County Cork. It is very accessible with steps and a ramp and has great facilities including toilets and a public car park.

We will also be brining extra facilites with food and drinks vendors as well as extra toilet facilities

There will be parking made available at Claycastle Beach Car Park. There will be a small fee of €5 for this.
