The Cider Frolic is a lapped 12-hour race consisting of a 6km route, made up of a variety of field tracks around the farm. That means you’ll need to run 7 laps for a marathon.
What is a Frolic?
Over a 12-hour period, you do as much running as you want. Complete at least one lap to get your medal and goody bag. Frolics are relaxed events with a fun atmosphere. You can run in teams of 4, 3, 2 or go solo. Solo runners can do as many laps as they want. To hit marathon distance, make sure you start at 8am and do four laps. If you’re in a team, only one of you runs at a time, then you swap over as and when you feel like it.
After you’ve entered, if you want to add a member to your team, you can! Simply select the ‘Additional Team Member’ entry from the list and select your team name from the drop-down in the ‘Join Team Name’ box to add.
Minimum age requirement for entry is 18 years old. For general race questions, see our FAQs.

We organise races in some of the most beautiful parts of the UK, from 5K up to ultramarathon, and everything in-between. We like cider, cakes and a run around in the countryside (possibly in fancy dress).
