About the event

Beautiful English rolling countryside, you, the team, full logistic support, all you have to do is run. The trail is on footpaths covering about 36 miles over 2 days. This is a new version of the previous 50 mile event we used to organise. Whether you are new to running trails or whether you are a veteran, this will be an amazing weekend of running and is an ideal event to see how you would fair on one of the more mountaineous adventures in the Alps. As always spaces are limited, so sign up now!

The Chiltern Hills, just 30 minutes North West of London, offer a stunning location for this spring and autumn time run. Leaving Tring station, accessed by main line rail on Saturday morning you’ll be led as a small team through the country footpaths to Bledlow Ridge. The local English Athletics qualified Run Leaders will show you the way, so you can enjoy the scenery, focus on your running and style. The path winds along a quiet trail through deep woods, grassy ridges and steep hills as well as through hamlets mainly seen in period dramas. 18 miles later and a few hills behind you, it’s time to get to the accommodation for a hot shower, a few drinks and dinner. Unlike races we emphasise the social aspect of our events. There will be plenty of time to chat about your running past and ambitions with your team members.

Following a good night sleep in a comfortable bed and a hot breakfast, you’ll be ready to take on the second day where we follow a different route back through Chiltern Hills. The trails undulate along grassy outlooks, through beech and oak woods and through more tiny English villages. 36 miles completed and and you will be rewarded with a RtW tech shirt.
