A brand new Sportive for 2022!
The Cheshire Cat has been Velo29’s biggest event since 2017, we’ve wanted to add another event in the area for some time and now we bring you The Cheshire Classic.
Riding from the excellent Crewe FC Stadium HQ we depart onto roads we’ve never before used. We explore some of the best roads in the area, always seeking out great scenery, and avoiding cars and busy sections.
The Cheshire Classic isn’t meant to be the toughest event in the World. The 3 route choices of 65/ 100/ 160km all have around 1% vert. It’s an opportunity to get a distance/ speed record, perhaps push on further than before in a well-supported event or ease yourself back in after a summer off.
We get a great level of Female participation in our Cheshire based events, the Female only start slot is always popular. We’d love to see more Female riders at all our Sportives.
