Beacon's Santa Run is back! The 5k family festive event will be held on Sunday 5th December at West Park Wolverhampton all in aid of raising money for Beacon Centre for the Blind. This year we are excited to announce that if you are unable to attend the event on the day you can join in the fun by joining our virtual race.
Your festive challenge is to run a 5k route of your choice wearing your Beacon Santa suit. You'll have the whole of December to complete the challenge so it is up to you if you run it in one day or spread the distance across the month.
Entry into the event is £10.00 and includes a Santa suit and a finishers medal posted to your home address.
This year we are also asking participants to consider raising sponsorship for completing the challenge and for those superstars who beat our £50 target a special Beacon t-shirt, printed by Beacon's very own Fab Lab, will be sent out to you in January.

Our members have never needed us more this past year and we’re determined not to leave anyone with sight loss feeling alone.
By taking part in our Virtual Santa Run you’ll be supporting the people living with sight loss across the Black Country and South Staffordshire. £10 could help us run a 30 minute low vision session aimed at helping someone to stay independent in their own home for longer.
If you’d like to find out more about how you can support our work please visit www.beaconvision.org or email supportus@beaconvision.org
