Exmoor Open Water Swim 2022
Exmoor Open Water Swim 2022

Back for the 6th year, join us on Sunday 25th September 2022  for the Exmoor Open Water Swim. After another hugely successful sold out and "COVID-secure" event in 2021, we are ready for more this year. Entries opened for 2 weeks after the 2021 event and we will reopen in early February 2022! Sign up early to guarantee your place. Limited early bird prices available for some distances.

Building on the success of our previous events, our goal is to give everyone the opportunity to swim in this beautiful lake in Exmoor National Park. Whether you are a regular open water swimmer, or want to venture outside of the swimming pool - this is your chance to swim #BEYONDTHELANES

Whilst we hope that the event will take place as close to "normal" as possible, after the success of running two "Covid-secure" events at Exmoor, we will be ready if there are further restrictions in 2022.  PLUS: If the event does not take place due to COVID-19 restrictions, we will guarantee you the choice of a refund or deferral to the 2023 event (see terms and conditions for details).

We have distances ranging from 1km - for those new to open water swimming, right up to 6km for those up for taking on a bigger challenge. Plus with 2km and 4km distances, there is something for everyone.

The longer distances will use a 2km loop, taking swimmers on a tour of the central lake. We also have an "elite" 6km event for those who wish to swim at a faster pace.

Whatever it is your are looking for, we can provide the perfect, safe, welcoming and enjoyable experience at Wimbleball Lake.

Hopefully people will aim for the longer distances next year. For more details go to www.exmoorswim.co.uk
