Bristol Triathlon is back for 2022 and will now be taking place on Sunday 12th June, 2022.

Set to be not only one of the most exciting triathlons the UK has to offer, but also the most unforgettable races on the cities calendar.

The Bristol Triathlon is open to all, it’s the ideal race for beginners and experienced athletes alike. Whatever ability you may be at this truly is a race for everyone, sign up today and enjoy the challenge!

For 2022 there will be a sprint distance or if you want an extra challenge then take on the standard.

The Bristol Triathlon 2022 is a closed road triathlon starting at the historical and picturesque Bristol Harbour. You’ll start the race with a swim in the historical Cumberland Basin. Then move on to a flat, and fast, closed road bike course down Portway, and round it all off with an epic run and finish through our famous dragon arch.

Event Date – Sunday 12th June 2022, 8AM Start

Event venue – Bristol Harbourside/ Cumberland Basin

Event Distances –

SPRINT: 750m Swim, 20k Bike, 5k Run

STANDARD: 1.5km Swim, 45km Bike, 10k Run

Number of participants – 1500

IMPORTANT NOTICE:

Road closures will be in place from 6AM on Sunday 12th June and so all participants are reminded to use alternative routes to get to the area. Please see your event race guide to see closed roads.

British Triathlon Federation Rules (BTF)

BTF rules, All competitors must comply with BTF rules, (it is recommended that you read the BTF rules and regulations which will be applied to this race). Non BTF members must be licensed to race which costs £6 and is payable to BTF. This cost is included within the non member ticket price.

Minimum age for competitors

The minimum age to take part in this event is 17.

All competitors must be licensed to race, those non BTF members will be required to pay a £6GBP levy for a day license. This can be purchased the same time you collect your race number.
